Although I have a B.A. in psychology my experience with Autism is mostly lived experience. I was diagnosed with Aspergers in 2003, my son was diagnosed with Autism in 1996 at age 6. At age 17 he was rediagnosed with Aspergers. I have a positive view of Autism and don't think those of us on the spectrum need to be cured but do need to learn to live with in the NT (Neurotypical) World. My services include:
Respite in your home so that you can go out, or take your ASD individual out so you can relax at home.
Advocating for people with special needs.

The autistic spectrum is made up of different disorders, although I do not like the word disorder let us use "way of being". There is Aspergers, Rhett's, and PDD-nos. Too name but a few. Here are some help links:
There seems to be a strong link between mood disorders and autism. Either our parents have this or some of us develop this coping with the world. I know that I was first diagnosed with bipolar in 1996 at the age of 39 after using phen-fen although that was just the icing on the cake of a very difficult year. Here are some helpful links:
